Cap
Seam panel has a single upstanding leg on each side. After a panel is laid,
the clips are installed up against the panel leg, with half of each clip
folded over the leg. The adjacent panel is then laid up against the clips,
and the other half of each clip is folded down. Finally the batten cap is
snapped down over all clips in the seam along the entire length of the panel.
The panels are now securely attached with the completed seam enclosing all
clips. Seams require no machine closing and rapid installation means low
in-place cost. Also available in 1-1/2" rib height (US-150CS). Cap
Seam panel can also be curved or tapered. These panels create an architecturally
desirable look without jeopardizing the integrity of the roof panel. The
installation of the curved cap seam panel (US-100 CCS) and the tapered cap
seam panel (US-100 TCS) is the same as the straight cap seam panel (US-100
CS). |
